Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 Review: Short Hands-on

I managed to get my hands on the new Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1.  I played with it just for a while, but that was enough for me to be impressed and overwhelmed with everything the 10.1-inch Galaxy Note has to offer.

So here’s my short hands-on review of this Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 that is being showcased at JUMP Center on Cyberzone at SM Megamall.

Images aren’t of high quality as my phone’s camera isn’t that good.

So here’s the Samsung Galaxy Note  10.1 in flesh. Its a shiny slate, with very smooth and metallic feel; yet not that heavy. Just right. However, for me, as I am not really used to holding a tablet of above 7-inch all the time, its a new feeling for me.

You’ll be greeted with that kind of splash screen, on which the other slides showcases the other features and main highlights of this 10.1-inch Galaxy Note. No matter what the file type of that slideshows, it just played smoothly and all the transitions were just seamlessly smooth.

The Galaxy Note 10.1 runs on Android 4.0 ICS but is expected to have a JellyBean update. There is already a circulating news in the web that the JB update has already been leaked.

The Galaxy Note 10.1 is equipped with an HD screen. Viewing webpages is a real pleasure to the eye. You can’t go wrong with the Note 10.1 if you are eyeing for a multimedia device, or just reading any digital prints anywhere.

It’s back is also elegantly finished. Indeed a very big Samsung Galaxy device with great feat.

Played with the installed game: Angry Gran Run, as expected it played just swift and smooth. No lags and the 3D graphics rendered just pleasantly clear and vivid.

I dont have the time to explore all the stuff behind this 10.1 slate, its exclusive features and go for an in-depth review, but its a double up-sized Galaxy Note and its Samsung so expect that there’s always some stuff that we cannot normally see on other tablets out there. The experience with the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 is just awesome. I wish I could just own one!

Its an overall heaven for those who’s looking for a tablet with a bigger screen. I personally had said to myself that this Galaxy Note 10.1 is just the tablet for me. I mean, I never said that with the iPad 2 or 3 and even the 7-inch GNexus7. Yes I want a bigger screen, powerful system that can feed my HD gaming and entertainment hunger, and most of all a battery that lasts for a couple of days. This one shouts it all.

But I know, with that specs and overall, it comes with a matching high price tag that can go from Php20,000 to Php40,000 and above on different versions and size capacity. (pricing is just an estimation)
